I love greek yogurt bowls, but the typical vanilla yogurt cup and granola can get old real quick. Here are some easy recipes to shake up your Greek yogurt bowl game!
I like to prep my greek yogurt bowls in Pyrex dishes for the week! Having a sweet treat prepped that also meets your protein goals will keep you on track and less inclined to reach for treats that are meant to be shared or meant to have occasionally.
What you'll need:
The Base (Greek yogurt): Try to choose non-fat or low fat varieties, plant based or dairy. Some of my preferred brands are Chobani, Oikos, Icelandic Provisions-Skyr, and Siggi's
Flavor of the base: This is what really determines which toppings you will pair the bowl with
Toppings: to give texture, additional flavor and to make the bowls look nice!
#1: Chocolate Berry Bowl

Why you'll love it: It tastes like dessert but with a protein-packed twist. Rich chocolate + bright berries = your new sweet-tooth hack.
Recipe:
Base: 2/3 cup of non fat vanilla Greek yogurt
Flavor: 1 tbs of cocoa powder, 2 tbs of stevia
Toppings: Strawberries or raspberries, 1-2 tbsp of dried cranberries, 1-2 tbs of cocoa nibs, 1-2 tbsp of pecans
#2: Raspberry Caramel Crunch Bowl

Why you'll love it: Lighter option with sweetness of caramel, crunchy texture of rice cakes, and tartness of berries!
Recipe:
Base: 2/3 cup of blue berry or cherry greek yogurt
Flavor: No additional flavor needed!
Toppings: Fresh or frozen raspberries, 1 tbsp chia seed, 1 tbs of walnuts, 1 crushed caramel rice cake
#3: Chocolate PB Cup Greek Yogurt Bowl

Why you'll love it: Nostalgic peanut butter chocolate cups/candy, except with a protein and nutrition boost!

Flavor: 2 tbs of peanut butter powder, 2 tbs of stevia
Toppings: 1 tbs of smooth peanut butter (warm it up to drizzle on top!) 2 tbs of chocolate chips
#4: Pumpkin Spice Crunch

Why you'll love it: It’s fall in a bowl—cozy spices, creamy pumpkin, and the perfect crunch. PSL vibes without the sugar crash. What else is there to say?!
Recipe:
Base: 1/3 cup non fat vanilla Greek Yogurt
Flavor: 1/3 cup of mashed pumpkin, 1 tbs of pumpkin pie spice, 1 tbs of honey or 2 tbs stevia
Toppings: diced apples, pumpkin seed, whipped cream (optional)
#5: Chocolate Frozen Yogurt!

You will need an ice cream maker or Ninja Creami for this one!
Why you'll love it: It’s similar to velvety chocolate “ice cream” you can eat everyday. Creamy, cold, and ultra-rich with zero fuss.
Recipe:
Base: 2/3 cup of non-fat vanilla Greek yogurt , 1/2 cup of skim milk or almond milk
Flavor:2 tbs of cocoa powder, 1 tbs of sugar free instant chocolate pudding
Toppings: Cocoa nibs, lite chocolate syrup and frozen berries
Instructions: Mix all ingredients overnight in a Ninja Creami container (usually at least 24 hours) and cream it on the "light ice cream" setting, add a splash of milk, then cream it one more time on the "remix" setting.
